About Hemp & Hope
Hemp & Hope is a sustainable brand selling hemp fibre bags, clothing and accessories. We began our business after travelling India and Nepal during the summer of 2019. We met with suppliers, checked out their factories and ensured they were clean and safe. We work with two family run businesses in Pokhara and Kathmandu to make our ethical garments.
Hemp is one of the most sustainable fibres in the world, it uses half as much water and half as much land to produce the same yield as cotton. It is a huge industry in Nepal and provides work for women in rural himalayan villages. Our hemp is grown without any nasty chemicals and is spun using traditional weaving techniques. It is incredibly durable meaning our products are built to last!
